Jacob Schurman

Jacob Schurman joined Holt Lunsford Commercial in 2025 and currently serves on the Industrial Tenant Representation team. Prior to transitioning into brokerage, Jacob spent seven months with HLC Investments (HLCI), where he evaluated and underwrote industrial investment and development opportunities across Texas. During his time with HLCI, he gained valuable experience in financial underwriting, market analysis, site planning, investment strategy, and transaction execution, developing a strong understanding of the Texas industrial real estate market.

Prior to joining HLC, Jacob worked in commercial real estate capital markets, where he helped underwrite transactions across the industrial, multifamily, and retail asset classes. This role provided him with valuable brokerage experience, including exposure to complex transactions, client relationships, and the deal-making process, while strengthening his financial analysis, problem-solving, and client-service skills.

Jacob received a B.S. in Finance from the University of Alabama, graduating Magna Cum Laude. While at Alabama, he served as President of the Culverhouse Real Estate Society and was a member of the Student Real Estate Investment Fund (SREIF) and Capstone Asset Management Society (CAMS), where he gained additional experience in real estate investing, REIT analysis, valuation, and broader capital market dynamics.

In his free time, Jacob enjoys playing sports, spending time with family and friends, and attending Watermark Community Church in Dallas.
