Billy Machina

Billy Machina joined Holt Lunsford Commercial in 2026 and serves as Accounting Manager for Holt Lunsford Commercial Investments. He is involved in all financial aspects of the team, including transactions, development accounting, partnership accounting, and supporting investor relations activities.

Prior to joining HLCI, Billy served as Accounting Manager at Hillwood in Dallas, in their Investment Properties division. In this role, he was responsible for US pursuit reporting for industrial developments, along with treasury and cash management, and accounts payable operations. Before Hillwood, he spent eight years at Goldman Sachs in Dallas as an Investment Accounting Associate, where he managed the financial reporting for a diversified real estate portfolio valued at $875 million. In addition, he worked directly with their asset management and portfolio management teams to coordinate fund and partnership capital activity. He began his career as an Audit Associate at KPMG, where he gained experience in financial services, particularly in the insurance and real estate industries.

Billy received both his BBA in Accounting and Master of Science in Accounting degrees from Southern Methodist University. Billy is an active member of St. Andrew Methodist Church in Plano, with his wife, Erin, and daughters, Eloise and Lucy.
